DESCRIPTION
A tire valve is a small component that is inserted into the rim of a tire in order to allow for inflation and deflation of the tire. The valve consists of a metal stem with a rubber seal that fits snugly into the valve hole. To inflate the tire, a pump is attached to the valve stem and air is forced into the tire. To deflate the tire, a small pin inside the valve stem is depressed, allowing air to escape. The ML225857 is a specific model of tire valve that is designed for use with trucks and other heavy-duty vehicles.
