DESCRIPTION
The Air Cleaner Air Flow Sensor, also known as part number ME226022, is a component found in the air intake system of a truck. Its purpose is to measure the amount of air flowing through the air filter and into the engine. This information is then sent to the truck's computer, which adjusts the fuel injection and ignition timing to ensure optimal engine performance. A malfunctioning Air Flow Sensor can lead to decreased fuel efficiency and power output, as well as increased emissions.
