DESCRIPTION
The heater core is a component of the truck's heating system that is responsible for warming the air that is blown into the cabin. It consists of a small radiator-like unit that is usually located behind the dashboard. Coolant from the engine flows through the heater core, and as air passes over it, it becomes warm and is then directed into the cabin through the vents. The MC148142 is a specific part number for a heater core that may be compatible with certain makes and models of trucks.
