DESCRIPTION
The Starter Safety Control Relay is an essential component of the Mitsubishi FUSO® commercial truck. This relay is responsible for ensuring that the starter motor only engages when the transmission is in neutral or park. The relay works by receiving signals from the transmission range sensor and the brake light switch, which are then used to control the starter motor.
Without the Starter Safety Control Relay, the starter motor could engage while the truck is in gear, which could cause serious damage to the transmission or even result in an accident.
