DESCRIPTION
The Rear Brake Pickup Sensor, also known as part number MK585833, is a crucial component of a truck's brake system. This sensor is responsible for detecting the rotational speed of the rear wheels and sending that information to the truck's electronic control module. Using this data, the module can determine when to apply the brakes and how much pressure to apply in order to slow down or stop the vehicle. Without a functioning Rear Brake Pickup Sensor, a truck's braking system would be compromised and could potentially fail, leading to dangerous driving conditions.
