DESCRIPTION
A lock washer, also known as a split washer, is a small, circular component that is used to prevent fasteners from loosening due to vibrations or other forces. The 70189 lock washer has a split design that allows it to apply pressure evenly around the bolt or screw it is paired with. This pressure helps maintain the tension of the fastener and prevents it from becoming loose over time. Lock washers are commonly made of steel or stainless steel and are available in a range of sizes to fit different bolts and screws.
