DESCRIPTION
The Vent Tube (part number 120918) is a component found in trucks that helps regulate pressure within the fuel tank. It typically consists of a small tube that extends from the top of the fuel tank to the outside of the vehicle. As fuel is consumed, air needs to enter the tank to replace it and prevent a vacuum from forming. The vent tube allows this air to enter and exit, ensuring proper pressure levels are maintained. Without a functioning vent tube, excessive pressure or vacuum can build up in the fuel tank, leading to poor engine performance and potentially dangerous situations.
