DESCRIPTION
The Pressure Relief Valve (part number 4306923) is a safety valve designed to protect the engine from excessive oil pressure. It is manufactured by Cummins® and is typically located in the oil pump or oil filter housing. When the oil pressure exceeds a predetermined level, the valve opens and allows the excess oil to bypass the engine's lubrication system, preventing damage to the engine.
