DESCRIPTION
The Valve Tappet Kit (Part Number: 4025420) for Cummins® commercial trucks is a set of components that help regulate the opening and closing of the engine's valves. These tappets, also known as lifters, are located between the camshaft and the valve stems. As the camshaft rotates, it pushes against the tappets, which then actuate the valves to allow the proper flow of air and fuel into the combustion chamber and the expulsion of exhaust gases.
