DESCRIPTION
A Valve Guide Replacer is a tool designed to assist in the replacement of valve guides in an engine. The tool typically consists of a handle and a cylindrical sleeve with a tapered end that fits into the guide bore. The sleeve is then driven into the guide bore using a hammer, and the old guide can be removed by pulling it out through the top of the cylinder head. Once removed, a new guide can be installed using the same tool by inserting it through the top of the cylinder head and driving it down until it is seated properly. This process ensures that new valve guides are installed correctly and securely, which can help to prevent oil consumption and improve engine performance.
