DESCRIPTION
A turbocharger kit is a component that consists of a turbocharger and all necessary hardware for installation. The turbocharger is an air compressor that forces more air into the engine, which increases power output. The kit typically includes a turbine housing, compressor housing, wastegate, and intercooler. The turbine housing guides exhaust gas from the engine to spin the turbine wheel, which powers the compressor wheel in the compressor housing. The wastegate controls boost pressure by diverting exhaust gas away from the turbine when necessary. An intercooler cools compressed air before it enters the engine to increase its density and prevent detonation.
