DESCRIPTION
A turbocharger kit with part number 5453201 is an aftermarket product that includes all the necessary components to install a turbocharger onto a truck engine. The kit typically includes the turbocharger itself, along with mounting hardware, gaskets, and hoses. The purpose of a turbocharger is to force more air into the engine, which increases its power output by allowing it to burn more fuel. When the exhaust gases from the engine pass through the turbine in the turbocharger, they spin it rapidly and drive an air compressor on the other end of its shaft. This compressor forces additional air into the engine's intake manifold under pressure, which allows it to burn more fuel and produce more power than it would be able to otherwise. Installing a turbocharger kit can be a cost-effective way to increase performance on many types of trucks.
