DESCRIPTION
The Turbocharger Kit (Part Number: 4955309) made by Cummins® is a device that increases the engine's airflow and power by compressing the incoming air. It consists of a turbine and a compressor wheel connected by a shaft. The exhaust gases from the engine drive the turbine wheel, which in turn spins the compressor wheel. As the compressor wheel rotates, it pressurizes the incoming air, allowing more oxygen to be forced into the combustion chamber. This results in improved engine performance, increased horsepower, and better fuel efficiency for the Cummins® commercial truck.
