DESCRIPTION
A turbocharger kit, with part number 4955173, is a component that increases the power output of an engine by compressing air and forcing it into the combustion chamber. The kit includes a turbocharger, which consists of a turbine and compressor wheel connected by a shaft. Exhaust gases from the engine spin the turbine, which in turn spins the compressor wheel to draw in and compress air. This compressed air is then delivered to the engine's intake manifold for combustion. The 4955173 kit may also include additional components such as intercoolers, piping, and hardware necessary for installation on a specific make and model of truck. Installing this kit can significantly increase horsepower and torque output for improved performance on or off-road.
