DESCRIPTION
A Turbocharger Kit (#4352249) is a performance upgrade for diesel trucks. It includes a turbocharger, intercooler, and all necessary hardware to install. The turbocharger increases engine power by compressing the incoming air, allowing more oxygen to enter the combustion chamber and thus allowing more fuel to be burned. This results in increased horsepower and torque output without sacrificing fuel efficiency. The intercooler cools the compressed air before it enters the engine, increasing its density and providing even greater power gains. Installing a turbocharger kit can significantly improve a truck's towing capacity and overall performance.
