DESCRIPTION
A Turbocharger Kit is a component that increases the efficiency and power of an engine by compressing the incoming air before it enters the cylinders. The kit includes a turbocharger, intercooler, intake piping, and other necessary hardware for installation. The turbocharger uses exhaust gases to spin a turbine which drives a compressor that increases the air pressure entering the engine. This results in more oxygen being available for combustion which creates more power. The intercooler cools down the compressed air before it enters the engine to increase its density and further improve performance. Part number 4090005 is a specific Turbocharger Kit model designed for use in trucks with diesel engines.
