DESCRIPTION
A turbocharger kit (part number 4089296) is a performance upgrade for a truck's engine that includes a turbocharger, exhaust manifold, intake piping, and other necessary components. The turbocharger compresses air entering the engine to increase its density and thus the amount of oxygen available for combustion. This allows more fuel to be burned, resulting in increased power output. The exhaust manifold directs exhaust gases to drive the turbine wheel of the turbocharger, which in turn drives the compressor wheel. The intake piping delivers compressed air from the turbocharger to the engine's intake manifold for distribution to each cylinder. Overall, installing a turbocharger kit can significantly improve a truck's horsepower and torque output while also improving fuel efficiency.
