DESCRIPTION
The Turbocharger Actuator Kit, also known as the wastegate actuator, is a component in turbocharged engines that controls the amount of boost pressure produced by the turbocharger. The kit includes a solenoid valve and an actuator arm, which work together to regulate the flow of exhaust gases to the turbine wheel. The solenoid valve receives signals from the engine control module (ECM) and adjusts the position of the actuator arm accordingly, opening or closing the wastegate as needed to maintain optimal boost pressure.
