DESCRIPTION
A turbocharger actuator kit, identified by part number 4030915, is a component of a truck's turbocharging system that controls the flow of exhaust gas to the turbine wheel. The kit includes an actuator and mounting hardware to properly position the actuator on the turbocharger. The actuator uses air pressure or vacuum to adjust the position of a wastegate valve or variable geometry mechanism, regulating boost pressure and preventing over-boosting. This ensures optimal engine performance and fuel efficiency while reducing harmful emissions.
