DESCRIPTION
The Turbocharger Actuator Kit (part number 4030872) is a component of the turbocharging system in a truck engine. This kit includes an actuator, which is responsible for controlling the boost pressure of the turbocharger. The actuator receives signals from the engine control module (ECM) and adjusts the wastegate valve to regulate boost pressure. The kit also includes mounting hardware and gaskets for installation. A properly functioning Turbocharger Actuator Kit can improve engine performance and fuel efficiency, while a faulty one can cause reduced power output or even engine damage.
