DESCRIPTION
A turbocharger actuator kit is a component that controls the turbocharger's boost pressure by regulating the flow of exhaust gases. It consists of an actuator, which responds to signal inputs from the engine control unit (ECU), and a linkage that connects it to the turbocharger's wastegate valve. The actuator is typically powered by vacuum or pressure from the engine intake manifold, and its duty cycle is controlled by pulse-width modulation (PWM) signals from the ECU. The kit includes all necessary hardware for installation and calibration, such as mounting brackets, hoses, and electrical connectors. In particular, part number 4030255 is designed for use in certain models of Cummins diesel engines and may require specific software updates or adjustments for optimal performance.
