DESCRIPTION
A Turbocharger Core, also known as a turbo or turbocharger, is a forced induction system that compresses the air flowing into the engine. This results in more oxygen being available for combustion which increases power output and efficiency. The Turbocharger Core is the heart of the turbocharger system, consisting of a turbine and compressor wheel connected by a shaft. The exhaust gases from the engine drive the turbine wheel which spins at high speeds and rotates the compressor wheel to draw in air. The compressed air is then directed into the engine's intake manifold where it mixes with fuel for combustion. The Turbocharger Core Part Number 4027890 is a specific model used in trucks and other heavy-duty vehicles to improve performance and fuel economy.
