DESCRIPTION
A turbocharger (part number 3801697) is a device that increases the power output of an internal combustion engine by compressing air before it enters the combustion chamber. It consists of a turbine and compressor connected by a shaft. Exhaust gases from the engine spin the turbine, which in turn drives the compressor to force more air into the engine. This increased airflow allows for more fuel to be burned, resulting in increased power output. Turbochargers are commonly used on diesel engines, as well as high-performance gasoline engines, and can significantly improve overall engine efficiency and performance.
