DESCRIPTION
A turbocharger is a forced induction system that increases the efficiency and power output of an engine by compressing the incoming air. The 3801689 turbocharger consists of a turbine and compressor wheel connected by a common shaft. The exhaust gases from the engine are directed through the turbine, which spins the compressor wheel at high speeds, drawing in ambient air and compressing it before delivering it to the engine's intake manifold. This compressed air allows for more fuel to be burned, producing more power for the same engine displacement. Turbochargers are commonly used in diesel engines to improve torque output, but can also be found in gasoline engines as well. Proper maintenance of a turbocharger is important to ensure its longevity and continued performance.
