DESCRIPTION
A Turbocharger Core, also known as a turbo cartridge or CHRA (Center Housing and Rotating Assembly), is a key component of a turbocharger system. It consists of the central rotating assembly that includes the turbine wheel and compressor wheel, along with the housing that contains them. The Turbocharger Core is responsible for compressing incoming air to increase engine power output. The 3575217 part number is used to identify a specific model of Turbocharger Core used in certain truck engines. When this part fails, it can cause decreased engine performance or even complete engine failure if left unaddressed. Replacement of the Turbocharger Core should be done by a qualified mechanic with experience working on turbocharged engines.
