DESCRIPTION
A Throttle Kit, identified by part number 4955374, is a component used in diesel engines of heavy-duty trucks to regulate the amount of fuel injected into the engine. The kit includes a throttle position sensor, an accelerator pedal assembly, and connecting wires. When the driver presses on the accelerator pedal, it sends a signal to the throttle position sensor which then communicates with the engine control module (ECM) to adjust fuel injection quantities accordingly.
