DESCRIPTION
The Throttle Valve, also known as the throttle plate or butterfly valve, is a component in the engine's air intake system that controls the amount of air entering the engine. Part number 3394751 refers to a specific model of this valve. The throttle valve is typically located between the air filter and intake manifold and is connected to the accelerator pedal via a cable or electronic sensor. When the driver presses down on the accelerator pedal, it opens up and allows more air into the engine, increasing power output. Conversely, when they release pressure on the pedal, it closes partially or completely depending on how far they have lifted their foot off of it. The throttle valve plays an essential role in regulating airflow and maintaining optimal engine performance while driving.
