DESCRIPTION
The Throttle Shaft (part number 3006460) is a component found in the carburetor of a truck's engine. It is responsible for controlling the amount of air and fuel that enters the engine by regulating the opening and closing of the throttle plate. The shaft itself is typically made of metal and features two arms, one on either end, which connect to other components within the carburetor. Over time, wear and tear can cause the shaft to become damaged or worn, leading to issues with acceleration or poor fuel efficiency. In some cases, it may be possible to repair or replace just the shaft itself, while in others it may be necessary to replace the entire carburetor assembly.
