DESCRIPTION
A Thermo Switch, also known as a thermostat switch and identified by part number C0309055200, is a component of a truck's cooling system. Its primary function is to monitor the temperature of the engine coolant and turn on or off the radiator fan accordingly. When the engine reaches a certain temperature, the Thermo Switch signals the fan to turn on, which helps dissipate heat from the engine. Conversely, when the engine cools down to a certain level, the Thermo Switch signals for the fan to turn off. This process helps regulate coolant temperature and prevent overheating of critical engine components.
