DESCRIPTION
A pressure switch, identified by the part number 2897710, is an essential component of a truck's air brake system. It monitors the air pressure in the system and sends signals to the brake control module to ensure that sufficient pressure is maintained for safe braking. Once the pressure drops below a predetermined level, it activates an alarm or warning light to alert the driver. This helps prevent accidents caused by inadequate braking power.
