DESCRIPTION
The Starting Aid Valve, also known as a cold start valve, is a component found in diesel engines that aids in starting the engine in cold temperatures. It works by injecting a small amount of ether or other starting fluid into the engine's combustion chamber to help ignite the fuel. The valve is typically controlled by a switch or button on the dashboard and is only used during cold weather conditions. The Part Number for this component is 259367.
