DESCRIPTION
The Starting Aid Nozzle, also known as a Cold Start Injector, is a component found in diesel engines that aids in starting the engine during cold weather conditions. It works by injecting additional fuel into the combustion chamber to create a richer air/fuel mixture, which is easier to ignite. The Starting Aid Nozzle typically operates for a short period of time during engine startup and is controlled by the engine's electronic control module (ECM). It is important to ensure that the nozzle is functioning properly to prevent hard starting or damage to other components in the engine.
