DESCRIPTION
The Speed Sensor Kit (part number 5550064) is a component of a truck's anti-lock braking system that measures the speed of the wheels and sends this information to the truck's electronic control module. This allows the module to determine if any of the wheels are locking up during braking and adjust brake pressure accordingly, preventing skidding or loss of control. The kit includes a sensor that is mounted on one of the truck's axles or transmission output shaft, as well as wiring and connectors for installation. Proper functioning of this component is crucial for safe operation of the vehicle in all weather conditions.
