DESCRIPTION
A solenoid is an electromagnetic device that converts electrical energy into mechanical force. In a truck, the solenoid is responsible for controlling the flow of electricity to various components, such as the starter motor or fuel pump. The 3870850 solenoid is a specific part number used in trucks with particular engine models. It acts as a switch that connects and disconnects the battery's power from these components, allowing them to turn on and off when needed.
