DESCRIPTION
The Injector Sleeve (part number 202605) is a cylindrical component that serves as a protective housing for the fuel injector in a diesel engine. Made of durable materials such as aluminum or steel, the sleeve helps to maintain proper fuel pressure and prevent leaks by sealing the connection between the injector and cylinder head. Over time, wear and tear can cause damage to the sleeve or its O-ring seal, leading to fuel leaks that can result in engine performance issues or even catastrophic failure. Replacement of damaged or worn injector sleeves is critical to maintaining optimal engine performance and preventing costly repairs down the line.
