DESCRIPTION
The Slave Piston Retainer, part number 3871539, is a component of the Cummins® diesel engine. It is a small metal piece that is used to hold the slave piston in place within the engine's hydraulic system. The slave piston is responsible for controlling the movement of the clutch fork, which in turn engages and disengages the clutch.
