DESCRIPTION
The Slave Piston, part number 3871347, is a component of the Cummins® diesel engine. It is a hydraulic piston that is used to actuate the clutch in a manual transmission system. The slave piston is responsible for transferring hydraulic pressure from the master cylinder to the clutch release mechanism, which disengages the clutch and allows the driver to shift gears.
