DESCRIPTION
A pressure sensor is an electronic device used to measure the pressure of a fluid or gas. In trucks, the pressure sensor (part number 3408558) is typically found in the fuel system and measures the fuel rail pressure. The information gathered by the pressure sensor is sent to the engine control module (ECM), which uses it to adjust fuel injection timing and ensure optimal engine performance. A faulty pressure sensor can cause a variety of issues, including poor fuel economy, rough idle, and decreased power output. It's important to regularly maintain and replace worn or damaged sensors to keep your truck running smoothly.
