DESCRIPTION
Piston Pin: Part Number 4083244 is a component used in Cummins® engines. The piston pin, also known as a wrist pin, is a cylindrical metal rod that connects the piston to the connecting rod. It provides a pivoting point for the piston, allowing it to move up and down within the cylinder bore while maintaining alignment with the connecting rod. The piston pin is subjected to high levels of heat and pressure, and is designed to withstand the forces exerted during engine combustion.
