DESCRIPTION
The Fuel/Water Separator Filter (FS20085) is an essential component of a truck's fuel system. Its primary function is to remove any water or contaminants that may have entered the fuel tank, ensuring clean diesel fuel enters the engine. The filter's design separates water from the fuel by utilizing a coalescing media that captures and removes emulsified water droplets. As a result, this filter helps prevent damage to the engine and fuel system caused by contaminated diesel. It is recommended to replace this filter every 10,000-15,000 miles or as per manufacturer recommendations to keep your vehicle running smoothly and efficiently.
