DESCRIPTION
A Remover Collet, also known as a Removing Collet with Part Number 3163729, is a component used in the removal of fuel injectors from diesel engines. This collet is designed to fit onto the injector nozzle and securely grip it during removal. The remover collet works by applying even pressure around the entire circumference of the nozzle, preventing damage to both the injector and surrounding components. Once in place, a slide hammer or other pulling device can be attached to the collet for easy extraction of the injector. This tool is an essential part of any diesel mechanic's toolkit and ensures efficient and safe removal of injectors from diesel engines.
