DESCRIPTION
A Breather Baffle (Part Number: 3100947) is a component located in the engine of a truck. Its main function is to prevent oil from escaping the engine through the breather tube while also allowing air to pass through, which helps maintain proper pressure inside the engine. The baffle is typically made of steel or aluminum and is designed to fit snugly into the breather tube, ensuring that no oil leaks out. Without a properly functioning breather baffle, oil can escape from the engine and create a mess under the hood, as well as reduce engine performance due to decreased pressure regulation.
