DESCRIPTION
The Crankshaft Pulley, also known as the harmonic balancer, is a key component in the engine of a truck. It is connected to the crankshaft and helps to balance out any vibrations that occur during operation. The pulley consists of two parts: the outer ring and an inner hub. The outer ring is typically made of metal and has grooves on its surface for belts to run on. The inner hub is attached to the crankshaft via a bolt or keyway and serves as a counterweight to reduce any torsional vibration caused by the engine's firing order. The Crankshaft Pulley plays an essential role in maintaining proper engine balance, preventing premature wear on other components, and ensuring optimal performance of the truck's powertrain system.
