DESCRIPTION
The Air Fuel Control Plunger is a crucial component in a diesel engine's fuel injection system. The plunger is responsible for controlling the amount of fuel that enters the engine cylinders during combustion. As fuel is pumped into the plunger, it compresses against a spring until enough pressure builds to force it through an orifice and into the cylinder. The amount of fuel injected is determined by factors such as engine speed and load, which are measured by sensors and sent to the engine control module (ECM). The ECM then adjusts the plunger's position to regulate fuel flow accordingly. Part Number 3051493 is a specific model of Air Fuel Control Plunger used in certain diesel engines, designed to meet OEM specifications for performance and durability.
