DESCRIPTION
The Instrument Drive N855, also known by its part number 3009993, is a component found in diesel trucks powered by the Cummins N855 engine. This part is responsible for driving the truck's instruments, such as the speedometer and tachometer. The Instrument Drive N855 is connected to the engine's camshaft and uses a gear system to transmit power to the instrument cluster. This allows for accurate readings of engine speed and vehicle speed while driving. Without a functioning Instrument Drive N855, these vital gauges would not work properly, leading to potential safety hazards on the road.
