DESCRIPTION
A Breather Tube is a component of an engine's crankcase ventilation system that allows excess pressure to escape from the engine. The tube is typically made of rubber or plastic and connects the crankcase to the air intake system. As the engine runs, blow-by gases are produced which can cause pressure buildup in the crankcase. The breather tube allows these gases to escape and prevents oil leaks or other damage from occurring. It also helps to keep the engine running smoothly by preventing a buildup of moisture and contaminants in the crankcase.
