DESCRIPTION
The Oil Pressure Sensor, also known as the oil pressure sender or oil pressure gauge, is a component of a truck engine that monitors the oil pressure and sends signals to the instrument panel. The sensor is usually located near the oil filter or on the engine block. It measures the pressure of the engine oil and sends an electrical signal to the vehicle's computer system, which then displays it on the dashboard gauge. This information helps drivers monitor their vehicle's performance and avoid potential issues caused by low or high oil pressure. A malfunctioning Oil Pressure Sensor can cause inaccurate readings or trigger warning lights on your dashboard, which may indicate that your vehicle needs immediate attention.
