DESCRIPTION
The Starter Motor (part number 3698453) is an electric motor that is responsible for initiating the engine's combustion process. It works by turning the engine flywheel, which in turn rotates the crankshaft and starts the engine. The starter motor receives power from the battery and is activated by a switch on the ignition key. Once activated, it uses a small gear called a pinion to engage with the flywheel teeth and initiate rotation. The motion generated by the starter motor allows fuel to be ignited in each cylinder, which in turn initiates combustion and starts the engine running. Without a functioning starter motor, a vehicle would not be able to start or run properly.
