DESCRIPTION
A Fuel Injector (part number 3802331) is a critical component of the fuel system in an internal combustion engine. It is responsible for delivering precise amounts of fuel into each cylinder at the correct time, ensuring optimal combustion and engine performance. The injector works by spraying fuel through a small nozzle into the intake manifold or directly into the combustion chamber, where it mixes with air and ignites to power the engine. This process is controlled by an electronic control unit (ECU) which monitors various inputs such as engine load, temperature, and throttle position to determine the correct amount of fuel to deliver. A faulty injector can cause a range of problems including poor fuel efficiency, reduced power output, rough idle or even complete engine failure. Regular maintenance and replacement of worn or damaged injectors is crucial for maintaining optimal engine performance and avoiding costly repairs down the line.
