DESCRIPTION
A fluid heating hose, also known as a coolant hose or heater hose, is a flexible rubber tube that carries hot engine coolant from the engine to the heater core or other components that require heat. The fluid heating hose is designed to withstand high temperatures and pressure while remaining flexible enough to accommodate engine movement. The hose is typically constructed of reinforced rubber with an inner liner made of synthetic rubber resistant to antifreeze and other chemicals. It connects the thermostat housing and water pump on one end and the heater core on the other end via fittings. A failure in this component can cause overheating, loss of heat in the cabin, or even engine damage due to a lack of coolant circulation. Regular inspection and replacement of worn hoses can prevent these issues from occurring.
